Chef Samantha Buyskes has partnered with BluePrint Geneva to provide fresh and delicious complete meals to the community every Saturday since April and continuing through the end of August.  Now she is helping us use the produce from our Public Gardens (on State and on Crystal Streets) and the produce from the biweekly deliveries through the USDA to provide additional food to our neighbors and recipes to give new ideas for home cooking!

 

August 9, 2020  There is an abundance of Kale at the State Street public garden right now!  Watch Chef Samantha turn it into an amazing pesto that dresses up an Italian summer pasta salad!  Here’s the recipe:

July 30, 2020 By supplementing with just a few ingredients, you can use the produce in this week’s USDA Farm-to-Family box to make this delicious Coconut Curry Carrot Soup.  As prepared in this video it is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan.
